A Chrome extension that relays your Google Meet status to Home Assistant so you can build a DIY “On Air” light or any other automation you like.
It watches every Chrome tab for an active meeting and toggles a Home Assistant entity accordingly, either through the REST API with a long-lived access token or by calling a webhook. I wrote about the light I built with it in this blog post.
