The Android widgets created by Colin O'Dell in the Google Play Store may ask for certain permissions when installed. These permissions are only requested because the widgets were originally built for an older version of the Android operating system which automatically granted apps with access to certain parts of the device; for compatibility with newer versions, Android automatically adds these permissions even though my sound effect widgets do not use them.
No personal data is collected, shared, transmitted, or even accessed by these widgets. They do not contain any advertisements. The widgets don't do anything except:
- Show a button on your home screen
- Play a sound when you press that button
That's it. They literally do nothing else.
